One year ago today I published the very first post on this little blog…I can hardly believe it!
I’m so thankful for all of you who read and follow Diary of a MadMama.
Every time someone comments on, likes, refers, pins, and shares one of my posts; it completely makes my day.
I’m especially grateful for those who decide to feature my blog on their websites. For example, being invited toΒ be one of the competitors on the first season of the Refashion Runway Competition was definitely a huge highlight of the first year…thanks Beth!
But most of all, It has been amazing to meet, connect and share encouragement with readers and fellow bloggers who, although I’ve not met them in person, feel like close friends.
To give you a recap of this past year, here are highlights from some of the most popular posts each month, followed by a celebratory giveaway:

Hi Jen, I’ve been following you almost a whole year. Thanks for the “rewind” on all of your cool refashions.
Aww, thanks Becky.
Thank you so much for following too, that means a lot!
Have an awesome day! π
Happy Blogiversary, Jen! It was great to have you be one of the first competitors on Refashion Runway. You have such a fun personality and it really shines through on your blog. Here’s to another fantastic year of refashions for you!
Hugs,
Beth
Thanks Beth!
You are very kind, and I’m so inspired by your creativity and awesome tutorials.
Congratulations on all of your success! Any word as to when I can get my hands on your book?
π
Thanks, Jen!
The Technical Editor just handed over my book to the Production Editor. Now the fun begins. This is the part where the Graphic Artists and Book Designers start their work. I’m so excited to see it all come together. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning.
The release date is in September. I guess it takes about 6 months once it goes to the printers. I’m learning so much about this whole process and having a blast. Once it gets closer to the release date, I’ll start talking it up again on my blog.
I can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve next!
Have a wonderful week!
Beth
That is so cool!
